At a round table in the Central Communications Service, representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan reported that psychological Support Centers were opened in 20 regions of the country in 2024. Today, they have provided assistance to about 240,000 schoolchildren and their families.

Vice Minister Edil Ospan noted that new approaches were introduced to assess the effectiveness of their work, including the development of methodological recommendations and clarifying the requirements for the qualification of specialists.

"The Ministry has approved methodological recommendations on the organization of the centers' activities, staffing, requirements for the qualifications and material and technical equipment of employees. A project office has been created to develop the activities of the centers, and providers have been identified. Akimats continue to establish the work of the centers in accordance with the established algorithm," said Vice Minister Edil Ospan.

Recall that the main purpose of the creation of the centers is to build a unified system of psychological services at the local level to maintain and strengthen the psychological well-being of children and their families.
