The head of the region assigned tasks related to the quality of road roads.
“Last year, the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemelovich emphasized at the meeting of the National Congress in Atyrau that “Roads are the lifeblood of the country’s economic and social life. High-quality roads should become a national task. It is impossible to talk about the development of the country without improving the quality of roads.”
I have been instructing to pay special attention to quality at previous meetings related to the road sector. In this regard, the role of the National Quality Center for Road Assets is special. The center took 1,884 samples from 91 projects in the region and identified 138 defects. Of these, 14 defects identified from 31 projects in Kyzylorda have not been repaired to date. "Please take immediate action to correct the deficiencies.
Contracting organizations must use modern equipment and technologies for construction work, perform it qualitatively and on time. Please note that in the future, in addition to contracting organizations, the author and technical supervisors will also be responsible for poor-quality work.
The regional passenger transport and highways department, the city of Kyzylorda and the district akims should jointly strictly monitor the quality of reconstruction and repair work on highways and streets. Ensure the high-quality implementation of the work scheduled for this year," said N. Nalibayev.
The length of local highways in the region is 3,545 kilometers, of which 1,025 kilometers are republican, 555 kilometers are regional, and 1,965 kilometers are district highways.
Last year, more than 300 kilometers of roads were repaired, and the share of roads in good condition reached 92 percent. This year, 329 kilometers of roads and bridges are planned to be repaired for funds allocated from the republican and regional budgets. This will increase the share of roads in good condition to 95 percent.
