As part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, environmental activities continue in the Akmola region.
Ecological issues were discussed at the Kamenka village agrotechnical college.
On January 28, a round table entitled "Eco-consciousness - the path to the prosperity of the country!" was held at the Kamenka village agrotechnical college in the Sandyktau district. Representatives of the akimat, maslikhat, experts, students, pupils and media representatives took part in it.
Deputy akim of the district Saule Zhaiilganova noted the importance of forming environmental awareness among young people. College director Konstantin Kudin spoke about the role of educational institutions in this process, and senior master Igor Prichipeev shared the experience of the "Green Country" labor team.
Students presented their environmental initiatives: cartoons, presentations and projects aimed at protecting nature. So, students from the Belgorod school spoke about the campaign "Feed the Birds in Winter", and Arina Kim, a student from the village of Lesnoye, presented the project "Let's Save the Planet Together".
During the meeting, the participants discussed the problems of environmental pollution, the initiatives of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, and the importance of volunteering. Many students expressed their readiness to join environmental projects.
