At the initiative of the Astana City Department of Education, an online meeting on security was held in private and public educational institutions of the city, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
The meeting was attended by the first heads of educational institutions, deputy head of the department M. Kairbayeva, as well as representatives of the Police Department, the Emergency Situations Department and the Astana Department of the National Security Committee.
Ensuring the safety of students at the required level includes a system of measures taken by authorized bodies.
The meeting considered important issues related to ensuring security in various areas:
* First actions in the event of a terrorist threat and measures to prevent terrorism;
* Explanations on anti-terrorism protection passports;
* Obviously false information about an act of terrorism, Article 273 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
* Issues of ensuring fire safety in educational institutions;
* Issues of children's safety on water bodies in winter.
As well as measures to improve and strengthen security were discussed, and recommendations for further actions were developed.
In order to increase the level of security at educational facilities, the Department will constantly carry out activities aimed at improving and strengthening security in this area.
