The conference, organized by the National Agrarian Scientific and Educational Center, brought together experts in the field of agriculture, seed production and agronomy.
At the opening of the event, Vice Minister of Agriculture Yerbol Taszhurekov stressed the importance of seed production for ensuring food security and the agricultural economy of the country.
He noted the key role of the modern approach to seed breeding and production, as well as the need to introduce new technologies to increase yields.

On the first day, an exhibition and a job fair were organized, where participants presented their scientific achievements and discussed the prospects for the development of seed production in Kazakhstan.
The conference also included a session on the strategy for the development of the breeding and seed production system. The experts discussed current issues and achievements in this field.

Seminars and presentations on modern methods of breeding and biotechnology are planned for the second day.
