Students and volunteers from the capital visited the Metal Former roofing and cladding materials factory located in Industrial Park No. 1 and got acquainted with the work of the enterprise, the official website of the city administration reported.
The excursion was organized to familiarize students with relevant specialties that are in demand in the labor market and to form an interest in technical specialties.
According to Adilet Berkinbayev, production director of the Metal Former factory, the factory is participating in the implementation of the “Cozy School” national project.
“Our factory is the first enterprise in the republic to produce facade materials. The opening ceremony was held in December 2023 with the participation of the Head of State. Currently, 110 people work at the factory. Our main direction is the production of building materials for cladding and roofing houses. In addition, we are working on the “Cozy School” project. In particular, we are preparing material for cladding the exterior of 82 schools planned to be built across the country,” said Adilet Berkinbayev.
During the excursion, students and volunteers got acquainted with the plant's modern technological processes and had the opportunity to ask questions to the company's specialists.
