According to weather forecasters, a snowstorm will occur on January 30-31, the wind will intensify, and the air temperature will drop to 15-17 degrees below zero.
Public utilities are carrying out snow removal work around the clock in all districts of the capital.
On the night of January 30, 316 road workers and 1,557 special equipment were deployed to clear snow.
On January 29, 4,127 heavy trucks removed 51,284 cubic meters of snow from the city during the day shift.
A total of 4,339,580 cubic meters of snow have been removed to snow dumps in 341,798 flights since the beginning of the winter season.
First of all, according to the rules, places with the highest traffic volumes will be cleared to avoid traffic jams on the roads. Also, medium-intensity areas - squares, areas near train stations, sidewalks, entrances to social facilities, etc. will be cleaned.
Cleaning of central streets, places where passenger transport routes pass, stops and sidewalks is also a priority.
There are several equipped snow polygons in the city. They are equipped with a system for reading license plates of dump trucks, video surveillance cameras are installed here, and lighting is turned on.
