Assets illegally withdrawn from the country will be returned through Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan

A Memorandum of cooperation was signed in Astana between the National Central Bureau of Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Asset Recovery Committee of the Prosecutor General's Office.
This step is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the fight against economic crimes and illegal asset withdrawal.
Within the framework of the memorandum, the parties agreed to join forces to implement joint initiatives, exchange information and best practices in the field of asset recovery and suppression of illegal financial transactions.
"The memorandum confirms our determination to ensure transparency and fairness, as well as strengthen global efforts to recover assets illegally withdrawn," said Merey Makulzhan, Head of the Interpol National Security Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It is expected that such a partnership will make it possible to counter economic crimes more quickly and effectively, providing support for international investigations and returning funds belonging to States and their citizens.
The Memorandum of Mutual Assistance lays the foundation for long-term cooperation and the creation of a sustainable platform for solving common tasks related to ensuring the economic security of the country.
