The project to provide hot water to the city of Kyzylorda is being successfully implemented. Today, 187 houses have been connected to hot water. All multi-storey residential buildings in the regional center will be supplied with hot water until the next heating season.
This was noted by the regional governor Nurlybek Nalibayev at an expanded meeting of the Government chaired by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
With the support of the head of state, important projects are being implemented in the region. 70 percent of the construction of a new 240-megawatt thermal power plant, undertaken by the Turkish investor Aksa Energy, has been completed. The facility will be put into operation in September. The new station will fully provide the regional center with heat and the region with electricity. It will allow selling the excess electricity generated to other regions.
It is known that the reconstruction of the Kyzylorda-Zhezkazgan highway began in 2022. Out of 216 kilometers of the road of republican significance in the region, 151 kilometers have been put into operation. The project will be fully completed this year.
Also, the conversion of 566 kilometers of roads from the city of Kyzylorda to the border of Aktobe region to category I will begin this year. Currently, a feasibility study has been developed with sponsorship for 350 million tenge.
