Two men went out in a passenger car to look for livestock 30 km from the village of Zhyltyr in Shalkar district and got stuck in a snowdrift. After trying to get the vehicle out of the snowdrift on their own for a long time, the farmers abandoned the vehicle and continued on foot. Realizing that it would be difficult to reach their destination in the harsh winter conditions after dark, they decided to ask for help from rescuers. Having mobile communication with the victims, rescuers found them off the highway and brought them to a nearby settlement.
A lost person was rescued in the Ulytau region.
According to preliminary information, a 32-year-old man left the Taipakshy winter camp at night to the Karsakpay village on foot and did not return. His worried colleagues reported his disappearance to the emergency services. A rescue team went on a search and, in adverse weather conditions, found the missing farm worker 2-3 km from the winter camp. Rescuers evacuated the frozen man to the settlement and handed him over to doctors for a medical examination. Thanks to the prompt action of the Emergency Situations Ministry employees, a tragic situation was averted.
A lost fisherman was rescued in the Zhetysu region.
Rescuers searched for a lost fisherman 6 km from the Akshi village of the Alakol district. He got lost in his car and after fishing, when it got dark, he could not find the road. Thanks to the prompt actions of rescuers, the man was found on the left bank of Lake Alakol and safely brought to the village.
