Volunteers of the "Astana Youth" youth resource center held another campaign, shoveling snow in the yards of pensioners and helping, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
As part of the "Clean Kazakhstan" and "Marathon of Good Deeds" campaigns, "Astana Youth" volunteers continue to clean the yards of the capital's elderly.
About 10 volunteers helped a resident of the Saryarka district shovel the accumulated snow that had been falling for several days.
The volunteers called on city residents to help each other and compete in good deeds.
"We went to a lonely pensioner and helped him clear the snow in his yard. Our volunteers help the elderly every week. In this way, we set an example for others and encourage them to do good deeds," says "Astana Youth" volunteer Indira Maremova.
