There are 1 district and 9 mobile groups monitoring socially significant food products in the district. Shop owners are constantly being instructed to comply with the requirements specified in the memorandum signed with the executive authorities and not to increase prices unjustifiably.
Today, 92 bilateral memorandums have been signed with shop owners on not exceeding the markup on socially significant food products by 15 percent.
In order to maintain stable prices for socially significant food products, fairs were held throughout the year. Last year, 18 fairs were held, and locally produced products were offered to the public at affordable prices. Also, producers of goods from the district twice participated in the fair at the "Severny" trade market in Semey, where they sold beef, lamb, and horse meat at fixed prices.
Small and medium-sized businesses are also developing. In 2024, 8 new small business entities were launched in the district. Several facilities, such as the "Agayindy" shopping center, the "Kambar" mini-market, the "Dos" restaurant, and the "Kenzhegali" mini-market in the village of Kumkol, have opened and are serving the public.
