Today, January 30, a concert of the "Birlik" ensemble of the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization was held on the stage of the Almaty Theater.
The gala concert, organized with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information, was one of the main events of 2025 as part of the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan.
The concert program featured performances by famous choreographers from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan and Tatarstan.
The concert was attended by the Minister of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aida Balayeva, as well as culture, art and public figures. The event was attended by the Kazakh State Folklore Ensemble "Astana Sazy" of the Roza Baglanova Kazakhconcert State Academic Concert Organization, the Kurmangazy Kazakh National Conservatory, the Republican State Academic Korean Musical Comedy Theater, the P.I. The Tchaikovsky Almaty Music College's Dostluk Uyghur Folk Instrument Ensemble, the Rukhsara Dance Group, the Nava Ensemble, and the Bahar Caucasian Dance Ensemble participated.
Famous artists and young performers performed mass and individual choreographic compositions, instrumental and vocal numbers. Among them were the Kuy Shashu dance, a medley of folk songs, Uyghur, Korean, Tatar dances, and other performances.
A flower of gratitude was presented to the creative team on behalf of the Ministry of Culture and Information.
It should be noted that the Birlik ensemble was established on March 1, 2024. This is the first multinational song and dance ensemble in Kazakhstan and the CIS. The unique repertoire of the ensemble includes the musical heritage and art of 130 ethnic groups closely related to the history of the Kazakh people and the formation of independent Kazakhstan.
