In the village of Kengirbai bi, Abai district, the construction of six one-storey semi-detached houses built within the framework of the "Concept for the development of housing and communal infrastructure for 2023-2029" has been completed. The keys to the new houses were solemnly handed over to 12 families waiting in line for public housing.
The event was attended by Akim of the district Meyirzhan Serikbosynuly, congratulated the new settlers.
"New houses are not just buildings, they are the beginning of a new life for every family. I believe that every family will be happy in these houses, creating an atmosphere of warmth and prosperity for future generations. The development of our district, each village and the improvement of the well—being of residents is an indicator of the sustainable development of our state," the akim of the district said.
This year, 70 apartments are under construction in the district. Last month, 16 new houses were commissioned in the villages of Medeu, Sarzhal and Kaskabulak. The remaining apartments are planned to be commissioned by the end of the year in accordance with the schedule.
