According to the KTZ, the volume of grain exports of the new crop in September-December 2024 amounted to 4 million tons, which is 57% more than the same period in 2023.
The growth in grain exports of the new crop to Uzbekistan was 45%, to Tajikistan - 57%, to Afghanistan - 51%, to Kyrgyzstan - 19%, and to the PRC - 10%.
Kazakhstani grain supplies to Iran and Azerbaijan increased significantly: exports to Iran increased by 30 times, from 15 thousand tons to 455 thousand tons, and to Azerbaijan amounted to 188 thousand tons.
Since the beginning of 2025, 558 thousand tons of grain have been exported, which is 8% more than the same period in 2024. Exports to Iran grew by 18.2%, to Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan by 4%, and deliveries to Kyrgyzstan increased by 4.2 times.
Let us recall that in 2024, KTZ exported 8.1 million tons of grain.
Deliveries to Uzbekistan amounted to 3.3 million tons, to Tajikistan - 1.2 million tons, to Kyrgyzstan - 140 thousand tons, to China - 1.7 million tons, to Afghanistan - 289 thousand tons, to Iran - 526 thousand tons, to Azerbaijan - 211 thousand tons.
