Tazy is a unique breed of dog, officially recognized as a national treasure. The President of the country instructed to preserve the basins, emphasizing their importance as part of the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
This initiative was reflected in the festival of national traditions "Sybaga", within the framework of which a tournament on traditional hunting and national sports "Salburyn" was held in Aktobe. The event brought together connoisseurs of Kazakh culture and sports from all over the country.
Welcoming the participants of the tournament, Deputy Akim of Aktobe region Zholdas Batyrkhan stressed the importance of such festivals, which contribute to the preservation and popularization of national customs.
Sybaga is not only a holiday, but also an opportunity to remind the younger generation of the rich heritage of their ancestors," he said in his speech.
Zholdas Batyrkhan also said that it is planned to create a special community in the Aktobe region to develop the national heritage and support our countrymen engaged in breeding and keeping Kazakh greyhounds taza. Appropriate funds will be allocated from the local budget to implement this initiative. The Deputy Mayor noted that the creation of such a community will help not only to popularize traditions, but also to support those who preserve the unique breed of Kazakh greyhounds, which are part of the cultural heritage of Kazakhstan.
The event was attended by dog breeders, golden eagles and archers from Aktobe region and other regions of Kazakhstan. Within the framework of the tournament, competitions of hunting greyhounds Kumai tazy "Salburyn" were held, to test the speed and agility of dogs Kumai tazy (shyrga Tartu), for the skill of hunting with birds of prey Kusbegilik, an archery tournament.
The competition venue was chosen in the vicinity of Zhanakonys-2 and Kurashasai railway stations. Here, in the fresh air, the participants demonstrated their skills, and the audience enjoyed spectacular performances.
An addition to the sports competitions was the exhibition "Kumai Tazy", where dog breeders presented the best representatives of Kazakh greyhounds. A presentation of horse harness reflecting the subtleties of national culture was also organized.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Aktobe region together with the Aktobe Federation of the Kumai greyhound. The organizers did everything possible to ensure that the event was held at a high level and was remembered for a long time by all participants and guests.
