The relevant draft budget for 2025-2027 is planned to be considered at the upcoming session of the Maslikhat of Almaty. This was reported by the press service of the city Maslikhat.

In addition, on behalf of Almaty Mayor Yerbolat Dosayev, compensation payments for eight categories of citizens will continue until April 1, 2025 under the Tariff in Exchange for Investments program, which will compensate for the increase in utility tariffs.
Starting in 2025, a new Jobcoach project is being launched in Almaty, aimed at accompanying people with disabilities at all stages of employment - from job search to workplace adaptation. The project is based on successful employment practices in Berlin and involves the work of specially trained mentors who will help employees and employers. In 2025, it is planned to employ up to 300 people.
The creation of a barrier-free environment remains an important area. In 2025, it is planned to certify 32.5 thousand objects, including residential buildings, public spaces, sidewalks and bus shelters, and adapt 1.5 thousand city infrastructure facilities.
