The presentation of Myrzatai Zholdasbekov's book "Witness of My Days" was held at the National Academic Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The six-volume book contains the diary entries of statesman, Doctor of Philosophy, Professor Myrzatai Zholdasbekov for the period from 1993 to 2018.
These entries cover the formation and development of international relations, the adoption of historical decisions related to the interests of the country, the author's contribution to the development of Kazakh history, culture and art, literature, traditions, science and education, the socio-economic situation of the country, the internal and external political situation, issues of interethnic relations, as well as his thoughts on morality and national education.
During the book presentation, a congratulatory letter from the Minister of Culture and Information Aida Balayeva was read.
"Your six-volume collection is a significant contribution to the recognition of the history of our independent country, the appreciation of our national values, and the expansion of our spiritual world. It is clear that the work, which truthfully describes the important events of the past era, the fateful periods that our people have experienced, will have a great lesson for the younger generation. This work is not only a mirror of your life path, but also a valuable world that enriches the history and spiritual heritage of the entire Kazakh people. Therefore, I am confident that your new books will be one of the important works that will serve as a guide for future generations, instilling the essence of patriotism and heroism,” the congratulatory letter says.
The event was attended by well-known public and state figures, poets and writers, media representatives, journalists, and readers.
