More than 80 Projects Presented at Digital Almaty-2025 Startup Platform

The Digital Almaty-2025 Technology Forum showcases innovative projects from leading domestic startups at the Startup Platform. Participation in such events paves the way for startups to scale, attract investments, and enter the international market.
The Startup Platform provides young companies with the opportunity to present their ideas to thousands of participants, including investors, experts, and business representatives. Among the participants in the Startup Platform are residents of Astana Hub, a leading startup in Central Asia, including Higgsfield.ai, which has attracted $16 million in investment from American funds, entered the top 25 startups in the world according to Google, and has more than 2 million users; the Grand Mobile gaming studio, founded in 2022, has already gathered an audience of 60 million players, and its revenue for 2024 amounted to $20 million, 60% of which came from international markets; Working in the EDTECH sector, CodiPlay has covered more than 600 schools in different countries, including South Korea and the UK, in three years and recently raised $9 million at a valuation of $100 million.

We regularly participate in startup arenas of major events, including the largest IT forum in Central Asia - Digital Bridge, and see how such platforms contribute to the development of innovations and technological entrepreneurship. Such forums play an important role in the development of the IT ecosystem of Kazakhstan, creating conditions for an innovative breakthrough and international cooperation," said Bolat Sultankulov, head of Arlan Biotech.
The Arlan Biotech project will change the process of drug development using generative AI. It allows creating accurate sequences of antibodies in minutes, reducing the costs of pharmaceutical companies in the $150-200 billion market. The startup was founded by experts in the field of biomedicine, machine learning and biotechnology and was endorsed by the already famous venture capitalist Tim Draper, thus becoming the best among Kazakhstani startups. Now Arlan Biotech is participating in the famous reality show Meet the Drapers for a $1 million prize.
BEKSAR offers a universal business automation platform, ITMLab develops innovative technologies for the rehabilitation of people with disabilities, Qala AI implements AI solutions for the sustainable development of cities, and Aurma.kz facilitates access to medical goods across Kazakhstan. Also among the participants is the Qazaq Dinosaur War gaming startup, which uses modern technologies to promote Kazakh heritage.
Recall that from January 31 to February 1, the Digital Almaty-2025 International Forum will be held in Almaty at the Atakent exhibition complex. The theme of the event is "Industrial AI: Technologies for a New Era". The organizers of the forum are: the Ministry of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Almaty Akimat and the State Enterprise "Innovative Technologies Park".
