Zhaslan Madiev Introduces Alem.AI International Center to Prime Ministers of EAEU Countries

At the Digital Almaty 2025 forum, the Minister of Digital Development, Innovations and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Zhaslan Madiev, presented the Alem.AI International Center for Artificial Intelligence.
The forum brought together the heads of governments of Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Armenia, Iran, and the leadership of the Eurasian Economic Commission.
The creation of the center is an initiative outlined in the Address of the President of Kazakhstan, and in his speech, the Head of State noted that Kazakhstan should be a country where artificial intelligence is widely used and digital technologies are developed.
Alem.AI will be the main platform for research, startups, and international cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence. According to Zhaslan Madiev, the center will increase the export of Kazakhstani AI solutions to $5 billion by 2029, as well as launch a new wave of technological and economic growth and turn Astana into a major intellectual center in Central Asia.
Alem.AI will become a catalyst for the development of the AI ​​ecosystem, attracting 10,000 talents in various fields, training 1,000 AI specialists, launching 100 AI startups and implementing 10 scientific research projects in the field of artificial intelligence. The center will create new jobs, attract international companies and become a driver of digital transformation in management. The project will also have a significant social impact - it will improve the quality of life through access to advanced technologies and educational opportunities, and training qualified specialists will help eliminate the shortage of personnel in the field of artificial intelligence.
The Ministry of Digital Development is negotiating with Telegram, TOP, Tether, inDrive, Google and other global technology companies to locate their offices in the Alem.AI center. These companies are engaged in the development of AI solutions, scientific research and the creation of new innovative products. The Astana Hub infrastructure is home to such international giants as Telegram, Playrix, TikTok, enrive, EPAM, Glovo, DAMUMED, Presight.ai and others. The opening of the center is scheduled for the fall of 2025, its area is 20,000 m2, and it will be located in the EXPO ecosystem.
Alem.AI will be a key element in the development of the AI ​​industry in Kazakhstan, supporting research, the development of advanced AI products and attracting investments in the field of artificial intelligence. Kazakhstan is taking steps to become a leading player in the global AI market, creating not only infrastructure, but also a full-fledged ecosystem for technological breakthroughs.
