The relevant draft budget for 2025-2027 is planned to be considered at the upcoming session of the Maslikhat of Almaty. This was reported by the press service of the city Maslikhat. One of the key directions for the city remains the development of transport infrastructure.
Thus, according to preliminary information, the budget plans to provide 35.8 billion tenge for the average repair of 300 km of roads, repair of 30 km of sidewalks, bus shelters and platforms, as well as other transport facilities.
In order to improve the environmental situation, work will continue on updating urban public transport. The draft budget for 2025 plans to purchase 600 gas-powered buses and 200 electric buses.
Within the framework of the instruction of Akim of Almaty Yerbolat Dosayev, the construction of roads in the territories annexed to the city in the MKR will continue. Zhas Kanat, Shugyla, Almerek, Akzhar, Rahat Madiniyet, Boraldai. The construction of new roads will significantly improve the transport services of the annexed territories, covering more than 70 thousand residents.
In 2025, it is planned to complete the construction of transport interchanges at the intersection of Ave. Seifullina - Zhansugurova St. and the breakthroughs of Sain Street from Ryskulov Ave. to Akyn Sara St., Abai Avenue to the city border.
