In Almaty, in 2025, 806.1 billion tenge is planned to be allocated to the social sphere in the draft budget, which, according to preliminary information, is 41% of the city's budget expenditures. The projected increase in social sector financing will amount to 8.7%. In 2024, 741.2 billion rubles were allocated to social services. In 2023 - 664.5 billion.
The relevant draft budget for 2025-2027 is being considered for adoption at the upcoming session of the Maslikhat of Almaty. This was reported by the press service of the city Maslikhat.
Recall that at the next meeting of the Maslikhat, the issue of approving the budget of Almaty for 2025-2027 will be considered.
According to preliminary information from the Maslikhat, financing for the modernization of healthcare infrastructure will increase 2.6 times in 2025 to 69.4 billion tenge. A three-level training program for 1,326 doctors and medical staff will also be implemented. Part of the funds from the new budget will be directed to the completion of the construction of an emergency medical substation No. 4, two family medical outpatient clinics and a new polyclinic for 500 visits in the Bostandyk district. The city's medical institutions will be provided with the necessary medicines and equipment, including vaccines and immunoprophylaxis. More than 4 thousand patients with rare diseases will be covered by free medicines.
In 2025, the renewal of the ambulance fleet will continue, for which it is planned to purchase 50 cars. In addition, 20 healthcare facilities will be overhauled in 2024-2025, of which 10 are scheduled to be completed in 2025, and work continues on the design of 30 new and outdated healthcare facilities.
