This year, the youth movement "ESIRTKISIZ ELORDA" was launched in Astana. The project implements a set of measures aimed at preventing drug addiction and supporting a healthy lifestyle among young people. The head of the Department for Youth Policy of the capital, Samat Ibrayev, told about this work at a briefing in the Communications Service, the official website of the city akimat reports.

Various events are being held in Astana as part of the project. So, in online trainings, professional psychologists and addictologists (specialists in behavioral disorders) conducted classes in schools and universities of the capital on topics related to the nature of addiction, the stages and mechanisms of its formation, the prevention of gambling and alcoholism, as well as world treatment methods.
The project regularly distributes information booklets at each meeting. These materials contain useful information about a healthy lifestyle, addiction prevention and the importance of informed choice.
"Sports events have also become an integral part of the project. Teams of yard clubs took part in the Astana CUP football tournament. In addition to football, boxing and taekwondo sports challenges were held, which contributed to the formation of team spirit and the development of sports skills. The annual Astana Cup tournament was also held, bringing together more than 150 athletes, where the winners were awarded the Cup, and the rest of the participants received sports categories. As part of the educational part of the project, podcasts were launched with the participation of well-known public figures, police representatives and popular bloggers, where important topics of drug crime, the consequences of drug use and effective methods of combating addiction were discussed. The series of the JAUAP podcast included conversations with such guests as the head of the Astana Prosecutor's Office, Aizhan Aimaganova, police Colonel Sergei Ilyinykh, Rinat, a former drug addict, as well as blogger and influencer Alibek Ermagambetov," the speaker said.
The city Prosecutor's Office organized simulation trials that clearly demonstrated to students the specifics of drug-related proceedings.
