Yerzhan Adilbekov, head of the Department of the local police service of the Astana Police Department, told at a briefing in the RSC about the OPM "Precinct" being held in the capital, the official website of the city akimat reports.
For the prevention of offenses in the serviced administrative areas, from September 16 to December 15 this year, an operational and preventive event "Site" is being held in the capital.
As part of the OPM, an apartment-by-apartment and yard inspection is carried out, residents get acquainted with their territorial precinct and can contact him with questions of concern.
"Rented apartments and the people living in them are being checked separately. Information about newly identified rental housing is sent to the state revenue authorities to verify compliance with tax legislation.
Since the beginning of the OPM, over 380 thousand apartments and 28 thousand private households have been completed," Yerzhan Adilbekov said.
At the same time, other violations of the rule of law are also being revealed. In total, over 24 thousand administrative offenses have been established.
"During the OPM, persons who are on preventive records of internal affairs bodies are additionally checked. 64 facts of violations of prohibitions and restrictions established by the court were revealed, 19 registered persons were brought to administrative responsibility," Adilbekov added.

It is worth noting that work has been intensified to curb vandalism, implemented within the framework of the principle of "zero tolerance" for any violations of the rule of law.
"Since the beginning of the year, 338 persons have been brought to administrative responsibility under article 147-1 for the intentional destruction or damage of someone else's property, 125 of them were arrested, 177 were fined.
Separately, 2,071 persons were brought to justice on the facts of committing petty hooliganism, 628 of them were arrested, 1,220 persons were fined," the speaker said.
In addition, a permanent specialized local raid work has been organized to identify the facts of damage to urban infrastructure and communal property. In total, over 1,000 such events have been held since the beginning of the year.
Vandalism prevention is carried out in coordination with the City Prosecutor's Office and the Police Department.
