Construction of a road to one of the main natural and tourist attractions of the Zhetisu region – the Burkhan-Bulak waterfall will begin next year. This was announced by the akim of the Zhetisu region, Beibit Isabayev, at a meeting with the population of the Eskeldinsky district, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
- Eskeldinsky district is one of the regions with high tourist potential. For 10 months of this year, 41 thousand people were served at tourist reception facilities in the district, including the volume of paid services reached 25 million tenge. It is important to note that next year the construction of 31 km of road to the Burkhan-Bulak waterfall will begin. 3 billion tenge will be allocated from the republican budget for these purposes in 2025. Therefore, in order to develop tourism, it is necessary to improve infrastructure, build new hotels and recreation centers. It is important to continue to popularize the sights through Internet resources and social networks, paying special attention to the development of ecotourism and agrotourism, - said the head of the region B. Isabayev.
By the way, the tourism industry of Zhetisu relies on the potential of 5 destinations. These are the lakes Alakol and Balkhash, the national parks "Altyn-Emel" and "Zhongar-Alatau", the mountain range of the Zhongar Alatau.
