In the Zhetisu region, over the 10 months of this year, the growth in agriculture in the Eskeldinsky district amounted to 110.6%. At the same time, 1.3 billion tenge of investments were attracted to the agro-industrial complex. This became known today during a meeting of the akim of the region Beibit Isabayev with the population of the Eskeldinsky district, the press service of the akim of the Zhetisu region reports.
In general, in the Eskeldinsky district, agricultural crops were sown on 51.8 thousand hectares. Currently, sugar beet harvesting is being completed, at this stage, 117 thousand tons of sugar beet have been delivered to two sugar factories by the district. Ear crops were completely harvested, 59 thousand tons of grain were harvested with a yield of 23 kg/ha.
- Increasing crop yields primarily depends on the introduction of modern agricultural technologies, compliance with crop rotation, as well as the proper use of mineral fertilizers. Also, in order to increase yields and efficient use of irrigated lands, special attention in our region is paid to the construction of water management facilities and the restoration of irrigation networks. In particular, in the Eskeldinsky district, design and estimate documentation has been developed for the overhaul of the Baibishe and Almaly canals, and the conclusion of state expertise has been received. As a result of the repair work, over 530 hectares of land will be provided with irrigation water. In addition, 8 farms of the district use the sprinkling method covering 877 hectares. It is important to continue this work further," said Akim of the region B. Isabayev.
The head of the region also noted a number of farms in the district contributing to the production of agricultural goods and ensuring food security. Among them are Khilnichenko V., Dyusenbinov A., Nam G., Yessimzhanov M. and others who work in various directions, including the production of flour, pasta and semi-finished products, feed, and are also engaged in meat processing.
