The food corporation launched the program "Consolidation of export shipments" to support farmers in September 2024.
The main goal of the program is to free up elevators and stimulate the export of grain by small and medium-sized agricultural producers.
Under the terms of the program, the Food Corporation, without buying back the farmer's grain, consolidates the farmers' commodity shipments and organizes its export for free, providing full transportation support. The foreign exchange earnings go directly to the farmer.
To date, with the participation of the Food Corporation, 4 export contracts have already been concluded with importers for the supply of agricultural products from Kazakhstani farmers in the amount of 14.5 million US dollars. The positive experience of concluding a pilot contract will be scaled up.
Also, importers from Kyrgyzstan, China, Iran and Turkey have already received commercial offers for the purchase of wheat, flax, sunflower and barley of the 2nd class.
