VICE MINISTER E. NURLYBAYEV PARTICIPATED IN THE REGIONAL HEALTH COUNCIL IN AKTOBE
20.02.2025 21:05:34 1056 Vice Minister of Health Yerzhan Nurlybayev visited medical organizations in Aktobe region and participated in an expanded meeting of the board of the regional health department.
As part of the working trip, Yerzhan Nurlybayev visited the regional perinatal center, where it is planned to open a center for neonatal surgery and city polyclinic No. 3 this year.
As part of the visit, a bilateral memorandum was signed on further strengthening cooperation between the regional health department and the Marat Ospanov West Kazakhstan Medical University.
This document is aimed at developing cooperation in the field of training medical personnel, practical medicine and scientific research, as well as jointly introducing innovations in the healthcare sector.
The Vice Minister also visited the Marata Ospanov He got acquainted with the work of the departments of the WKSU Medical Center and held a meeting with the university staff.
During the expanded board, the Vice Minister got acquainted with the results of the regional health service for 2024, and also set goals for the development of the health system for the coming period.
"We are taking a number of measures to strengthen maternal and child health. This includes expanding the coverage of Aktobe families with gravidarum training, strengthening professional ties between primary care specialists and multidisciplinary hospitals, and improving the skills of specialists in specialized fields," noted the head of the Aktobe region's DSB, Yerlan Sultangereev.
During the board, the issues of insufficient staffing in rural areas were raised. Thanks to social support measures for medical professionals, about 100 specialists, 25 of whom were specialists in specialized fields, were employed in rural areas.
Following the board's conclusions, Yerzhan Nurlybayev, together with his Aktobe colleagues, analyzed the problematic issues of regional health care.
