In the village of Kos-Estek, Kargaly district, the Kuanysh farm is engaged in breeding Auliekol cows.
During a working trip to the Kargaly district, the regional akim visited the village of Kos-Estek. He visited the Kuanysh farm, which is successfully engaged in breeding Auliekol cattle.
In 2023, the farm purchased 100 female cattle and 4 productive bulls, and in the second year it achieved high results, today 85% of the animals have calved. Now farmers plan to increase the herd to 500 females and develop breeding in order to sell livestock throughout Kazakhstan. According to Arman Ilyupov, a zootechnician at the Kuanysh farm, the Auliekol breed is well adapted to the climate of the region and does not cause difficulties in care.
The farm is also engaged in crop production and provides itself with feed. In 2024, 1,118 hectares of land were sown with wheat, barley and oats.
The regional akim got acquainted with the dynamics of farm work, discussed further development plans with the farm management, and noted the importance of state support for farmers. He noted that such initiatives help improve the economic situation in the region and increase food security.
Then the regional head visited the “My Family” bakery in the village of Kos-Estek.
It was opened by Natalia Rode, a mother of nine children. Together with the children, they bake up to 700 loaves of bread and other bakery products and deliver them to the villages.
“In 2020, I received a grant of four million tenge under the “Business Roadmap-2025” program. With this money, I purchased equipment and ovens. At first, I baked bread at home, my daughters helped, and the sons were engaged in transporting bread. Bakery products began to be in demand, and we decided to expand the business and build a bakery. In 2023, we received a loan of 1.3 million tenge through the “Auyl Amanaty” program to purchase equipment for kneading dough, molds and a refrigerator. We paid off this loan quickly, which had a positive impact on the development of our family business,” Natalya said about her business.
Now the entrepreneur plans to purchase a vehicle for transporting bread through the state support program.
“A family business in a village is a guarantee of stability and growth. Do not stop there, develop further. Your children are helping you - this is an important step in preserving traditions and continuity. There will always be a need for bread. "All the foundations for success have been laid," the akim wished the entrepreneur success.
Furthermore, the regional akim visited the village of Velikhovka and got acquainted with the activities of the local farm, which has been developing under the leadership of Yuri Baranov since 1999.
The Velikhovka farm is engaged in crop and livestock farming. The area of arable land is 4,405 hectares, meadows are 536 hectares, and another 1,968 hectares are allocated for pastures. The number of livestock is about 400. Last year, 4,297 hectares of grain crops were sown, 228 hectares were allocated for fodder.
The farm is equipped with modern agricultural machinery. Today, 30 people work on the farm, who ensure the smooth operation of the enterprise.
"It is important to support farmers who not only develop agriculture, but also create jobs that contribute to the prosperity of the entire region. We will continue to support initiatives that will help expand businesses, upgrade equipment, and improve working conditions. Only through joint efforts can we achieve sustainable development, improve life in rural areas, and ensure a prosperous future for future generations,” the regional governor noted.
