Karaganda invites pensioners to engage in sports for free

An additional section of the Longevity Center for the elderly will be opened in Karaganda. They will be able to do stretching, dancing, breathing exercises and go to the gym for free.
The new section of the Active Longevity Center will start operating on March 3 at 46/2 Ermekov Street. It will have a gym, halls for sports and events, and board games. You can also get advice from a psychologist and a lawyer in the center.
The initiative to create such a section belongs to the employees of the Karaganda Active Longevity Center.
“We provide 27 types of services to the elderly in total. All of them are free. Now a fitness center will also be added to these services. It is fully equipped, and the staff is staffed with trainers with higher pedagogical education,” says Maria Kusainova, deputy director of the Active Longevity Center.
Pensioners can apply to visit the center now. To do this, you need to collect a package of documents, including a pension certificate, an extract from the outpatient card in the form 027u, a certificate from the psychoneurological dispensary and fluorography.
Before March 1, documents must be delivered to the following address: Karaganda Central Park, 157th quarter, 106th section, Sport Line fitness club. The club is open from 09:00 to 18:00, with a lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00.
After March 3, documents will be accepted at the following address: Ermekov Street, 46/2, Persona club. Working hours are from 09:00 to 18:00, lunch break from 13:00 to 14:00.
