A special classroom for welding classes was opened at the Karaganda Mining and Industrial College with the support of the KAZFITTING company. The partners carried out major repairs, purchased furniture and completely updated all visual aids. Now it is convenient and easy for students to master a specialty.
In September 2024, the college signed an agreement with KAZFITTING LLP, thanks to which students can visit the enterprise, get acquainted with the production, and undergo internships.
Oleg Kastalsky, Deputy Director of the KMCC for Educational and Production Work, noted that supporting enterprises is an important part of training. The college provides education, and experience helps to consolidate them and prepare for real work.
- The interaction of business and education is the key to a successful career for young specialists, - believes Oleg Kastalsky. - Such projects help us establish contacts with production and make training as productive as possible.
This is also beneficial for business: the company needs specialists who are ready for work. KAZFITTING says that it needs electric and gas welders, electrical equipment installers, and locksmiths for the repair and maintenance of control and measuring devices and automation. College graduates who are familiar with production processes immediately find jobs.
Both parties benefit from such cooperation: the college will have the opportunity to upgrade its material and technical base, students will master a demanded specialty, and enterprises will be provided with trained specialists.
