✔️Food security and providing the population with high-quality and affordable food are one of the important areas. To this end, today, during a working trip to the Saryagash district, the Governor of the Turkestan region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, met with local farmers and discussed important issues in the industry. He called on farmers to switch to the processing of agricultural products. He also discussed ways to eliminate unnecessary intermediaries. For this, it is important to make efforts to establish contact between the producer and the consumer.
✔️The meeting raised the issue of opening a wholesale distribution center. This is a complex of structures and equipment for storing, processing and selling agricultural products. The head of the region instructed those responsible to consider the issue of opening a center using the experience of advanced countries.
✔️The regional akim explained to the farmers the effectiveness of waste-free production for the economy. He spoke about the importance of developing the food industry. He noted the state support in this direction, the efforts made to implement new projects in this direction in the industrial park in the Sauran district. The farmers expressed their gratitude for the support provided by the state.
📌– It is important for us to create new jobs and increase production in this direction. We need to turn to the direction of processing agricultural products. The highest priority is given to the use of water-saving technologies. Special attention should be paid to labor productivity, the introduction of new technologies, the purchase of high-quality seeds and modern equipment. The main task is to reduce imports and maximize the region's food self-sufficiency, - said Nuralkhan Oralbayuly.
🔁70% of greenhouses built in the republic belong to the Turkestan region. The volume of greenhouses is increasing every year.
✔️The head of the region visited the Agro Tur farm in the Zhibek Zholy rural district of the Saryagash district. The 4-hectare greenhouse is engaged in the production of vegetable seedlings. In particular, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, eggplant, bell peppers, roses, chrysanthemums are grown. The total area of ​​​​the land is 15.0 hectares. The cost of the project is 1.2 billion tenge.
✔️The Agro Tur farm, which began its work in 2019, is capable of preparing 3 million seedlings at a time. And it can produce 12 million seedlings and 310 tons of vegetables per year. Farmers are using a unique method with the help of advanced technologies. In particular, the 1-hectare greenhouse complex for growing seedlings is equipped with Dutch technology. Sowing and caring for seedlings is fully automated. The sowing equipment was imported from Italy. The products are sold to the Turkestan region and the northern regions of the country. The greenhouse complex employs 30 people on a permanent basis.
