✔️The akim of the Turkestan region, Nuralkhan Kusherov, paid a special business trip to the Saryagash district and visited a number of facilities. The head of the region visited the "Kaplanbek" customs post in the city of Saryagash. The head of the customs post, Yerzhan Shynadil, reported on the work being carried out at the post and shared his plans for the future.
✔️The "Kaplanbek" customs post was temporarily closed in December 2022 for reconstruction work. In 2024, major repairs were completed. Simultaneous modernization and technical equipment works were carried out at the "Kaplanbek" and "Navoi" checkpoints by Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, and the checkpoint resumed its work on February 5, 2025.
✔️The "Kaplanbek" checkpoint has been modernized according to advanced international standards. It is equipped with the most advanced technological equipment used to carry out state control when crossing the border and 16 passport control booths in both directions. All conditions have been created for the comfortable crossing of the border by individuals. The entire cycle of traffic flow has been automated. The throughput capacity has been increased to 20 thousand individuals and 800 vehicles per day.
🔁Governor of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov, during a working trip to Saryagash district, got acquainted with the construction progress of the police department building located in the Zhibek Zholy settlement.
✔️The building, which is being built by order of "CK Abu Group" LLP, will be put into operation in March this year. The contractor is "StroyTransService KZ" LLP. The total area of ​​the building is 480 square meters. The project cost of the police department is 280 million tenge. The 2-story building has a total of 34 rooms. The regional police department has been allocated funds from the regional budget for 2025.
✔️Currently, work is underway to fence off external driveways and interior decoration. 25 workers have been involved in construction work. The regional akim, who visited the facility, instructed the representative of the contractor to use high-quality materials for construction work and to increase the pace of construction work.
