✔️The festival "City of Working Professions" continues in Astana. The large-scale gathering, organized by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the "EXPO" International Exhibition Center, entered its third day today. The day before yesterday, Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev toured the exhibition and met with young people.
✔️A delegation led by Deputy Akim of Turkestan Region Beisenbai Tazhibayev is actively participating in the festival, with a total of 250 people participating. The delegation includes 10 regional and local maslikhat deputies, about 50 heads and teachers of technical and vocational education organizations, about 100 students, 60 schoolchildren, 20 representatives of social partners of colleges in the region, as well as special subject teachers and production training masters.
✔️In the "City of Working Professions", production exhibitions of 20 regions have been organized based on 15 main areas of the economy, depending on the specifics of each region. Mechanical engineering, information technologies, construction, agro-industrial complex, energy, transport and other sectors that determine the future of the country's economy are covered. Two colleges of the Turkestan region presented their latest technologies. Maktaaral Agrarian College is presenting its best projects in the water management sector, and Kaplanbek Higher Agrarian College is presenting its best projects in the agro-economic sector at a presentation exhibition.
✔️During the exhibition, the Minister of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gani Beisembayev and Vice Minister Edil Ospan positively assessed the creative projects of Turkestan youth. The delegation also made excursions to exhibitions in other regions and exchanged experiences. Visitors got acquainted with new technologies and curricula in the field of technical education, received information about new and popular specialties offered by domestic colleges.
✔️Memorandums aimed at developing mutual cooperation between large enterprises, the business community and colleges are being signed within the framework of the meeting. Kaplanbek Higher Agrarian Technical College plans to hold negotiations with a number of organizations in various directions. In particular, they will meet with representatives of the "ECO-Culture Eurasia" company, "Qazaq Sut" Public Company, "ME GROUP" LLP, the Republican Chamber of Dairy and Mixed Breeds of Cattle, and the "S. Seifullin Kazakh Agrotechnical Research University" JSC.
✔️It should be noted that since the beginning of the festival, various seminars and master classes, a hackathon on the topics of the oil and energy industry, a parade of professions, a job fair, presentations of startups, concerts and trainings have been held. The first event officially opening the Year of Working Professions and a festival promoting working people will end on February 15.
