✔️Governor of Turkestan region Nuralkhan Kusherov got acquainted with the condition of the Oymauyt water dam in the village of Zhuzimdyk during his business trip to Keles district.
✔️This water dam, owned by the Turkestan branch of the RSE Kazsuchar, was put into operation in 1986. The length of the dam with a water throughput of 285 m3/sec is 30 meters. The area of ​​adjacent arable land is 2.7 thousand hectares. According to the conclusion of the specialized scientific research organization Seismokorgau LLP, the Oymauyt water dam is currently recognized as unusable. In this regard, 6.5 hectares of land have been acquired for the construction of a new dam, and the Turkestan branch of the Kazsuchar RSE is carrying out relevant work.
✔️In general, there are 148 canals and 144 culverts in the Keles district with a total length of 1,051.2 kilometers on the state balance sheet. In addition, 3 water dams belonging to the Turkestan branch of the Kazsuchar RSE and the Akylbeksai reservoir are registered along the Keles River, which passes through the district. In order to provide farmers with timely access to running water and prevent flooding, mechanical cleaning work was carried out on 14 canals and culverts located in the district, totaling 66 kilometers. This year, it is planned to carry out mechanical cleaning of 32 canals and culverts with a length of about 87 kilometers. In addition, it is planned to carry out complex work on the canals as needed.
✔️The head of the region supervised the construction of a sports complex being built in the Abay village within the framework of the “Auyl – El Besigi” project. Construction work began in June 2023 by Corporation AK Ordasy LLP. The building, located on an area of ​​1.5 hectares, has a capacity of 250 seats. The sports building is designed to host events of various levels. There are boxing and wrestling halls, a conference hall, bathrooms and training rooms, and a dining room. The facility is scheduled to be commissioned this year.
✔️On this day, the regional governor visited the greenhouse of the Nurzhan farm located in the Orazata settlement of Birtilek rural district. The farmer is planting lemons, tomatoes, cucumbers, cabbage, onions, bell peppers, eggplants and other garden crops on an area of ​​0.62 hectares and growing seedlings. In addition, he is studying new varieties of seedlings and preparing resistant seedlings for saline soils. The project cost is 100 million tenge, and the annual capacity is 2.5 million seedlings. The greenhouse employs 35 people on permanent and seasonal jobs. The products cover not only the domestic market of our country, but are also exported to Tajikistan.
✔️After getting acquainted with the work being carried out in the Keles district, Nuralkhan Kusherov, taking into account current issues, instructed the district akim and the heads of responsible sectors to regulate the condition of water facilities, strictly monitor the construction quality of social facilities, and intensify work to explain state support measures to farmers.
