✔️“In his Address, the Head of State raised the urgent issue of ludomania, financial pyramids and Internet fraud, as well as increasing the financial literacy of the population. In fact, in recent years, the number of people affected by Internet scams has been increasing. It is worrying that the number of people who have been deceived in our city has been increasing, if not decreasing, in recent years. The importance of today's event is to fully inform residents, to call on them to be careful and not to be deceived by scammers," the city mayor said.
✔️At the meeting, law enforcement officers spoke about the most common types of Internet fraud, as well as steps to take to avoid becoming a victim of this crime. They emphasized the need to protect personal data on social networks, online stores and other Internet platforms, not to click on suspicious links, and to be careful when carrying out financial transactions via the Internet.

✔️In this matter, it turns out that mainly professionals with a stable income often fall into the hands of scammers. Among them are teachers, doctors, civil servants and specialists working in various fields.
