✔️The tragedy of the Afghan war, which lasted for almost ten years, with an unknown direction, did not bypass Kazakhstanis. 253 soldiers went to fulfill their international duty from the soil of Myrzachol alone, 18 of whom died in a foreign land. The loyal love and heroism of Afghan soldiers for their homeland and country will always be a motto for future generations.
✔️The event, organized by the Zhetisay district internal policy department and the district culture, language development, physical education and sports department, began in the district's central park with a wreath-laying ceremony in front of the heavy military equipment erected in honor of the soldiers who died bravely in the Afghan war and a minute of silence. They prayed for the souls of the Bozdak people, wished for peace and independence to last forever, and made a blessing.
✔️At the solemn event organized to mark the 36th anniversary of the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan, Askar Kainazarov, executive secretary of the Zhetysai district branch of the AMANAT party, Turyshbek Elshibayev, non-staff advisor to the district akim, and Aitbay Makhambetov, chairman of the district veterans' council, praised the young generation for the wonderful examples of the unparalleled heroism of the Bozdak people, who fought with the enemy for centuries in the cause of independence and established today's peaceful era, and who showed a true example of patriotism in the Afghan war of yesterday, and awarded the front-line soldiers with letters of gratitude.
✔️And the artists of the district, in turn, sang patriotic songs to the guests of the evening and gave a festive mood.
