✔️A special event was organized in the Ordabasy district of the Turkestan region to mark the 36th anniversary of the complete withdrawal of Soviet troops from Afghanistan.
✔️The event of great historical significance was attended by the akim of the Ordabasy district Azat Oralbayev, the chairman of the district maslikhat Bakdaulet Zhumabekov, representatives of the district council "Veterans and Invalids of the Afghan War", veterans of the Afghan war, representatives of the intelligentsia, young people and residents.
✔️The event began with a minute of silence in memory of the soldiers who died in the Afghan war and a tribute to the heroes. In addition, those present laid flowers at a specially erected monument and paid tribute to the veterans.
✔️The solemn event continued at the District Culture House, where a togyzkumalak competition was held. Deputy Akim of the district Meirambek Akmuratov congratulated the veterans on their 36th anniversary and noted that the state always supports the veterans of the Afghan war.
✔️During the festive gathering, artists from the District House of Culture presented a special concert program and sang patriotic songs. In addition, veterans of the Afghan war shared their memories and shared their experiences.
✔️Yesterday is today's history. The heroism of our heroic veterans who participated in that terrible battle will undoubtedly serve as an example for today's youth and will forever be remembered. Because heroism is never forgotten.
