The Kaplanbek Higher Agrarian and Technical College of Turkestan region trains drone operators, who are in demand in the agricultural sector. College students presented their projects at the “City of Working Professions” festival.
The use of drones helps to increase the productivity of agricultural crops and reduce costs.
“These are modern specialties that are being introduced taking into account the economic characteristics of the region. Agrodrones allow you to save chemicals by 20%, water by up to 80%, reduce fuel consumption, labor and the amount of equipment used. In addition, they will ensure the uniform introduction of seeds, fertilizers and plant protection products,” said the college director Baglan Shyganov.
Earlier, the college signed a memorandum with a Chinese company, within the framework of which the college will receive methodological and material and technical support for the training of specialists, and teachers will undergo practical training in production.
