The President of the United World of Wrestling (UWW) visited sports facilities in the capital

The President of the International Federation of United Wrestling, Nenad Lalovich, who arrived in Kazakhstan on an official visit, toured the sports facilities in the capital and got acquainted with the progress of work.
Mr. Nenad first visited the Qazaqstan Athletics Sports Complex, which was put into operation by the end of 2020. The sports complex has a certificate from the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF). This certificate allows it to hold any competitions of the highest level here. The complex includes an athletics track with running tracks, a swimming pool, a hotel, a children's playground, a food court, a gym, a shot put area, and training areas for high and long jumps.
The President of the International Federation of United World Wrestling Zhaksylyk Ushkempirov also visited the Wrestling Palace. The Wrestling Palace is a unique sports complex that can host international competitions in wrestling (Greco-Roman, freestyle, women's wrestling, judo, karate, taekwondo, mixed martial arts).
"I am glad to be back in Astana! Your capitals have become more beautiful than ever, filled with magnificent, eye-catching buildings. Today, I visited several sports complexes that have opened the doors of Astana and turned it into a city of sports, and got acquainted with the excellent infrastructure. International-level sports facilities are of a very high level, built for the convenience of athletes and fans. Any of these facilities is capable of hosting international competitions,” Nenad Lalovich noted.
