In order to improve the road and transport infrastructure, as well as taking into account modern standards of safety and convenience for pedestrians, it is planned to continue the reconstruction of the above-ground pedestrian crossing near the Astana Opera State Opera and Ballet Theater on Kunayev Street, the official website of the capital's akimat reports.
In this regard, by agreement with the Astana PD Administrative Police Department, the section of Kunayev Street from Kabanbai Batyr Avenue to Turan Avenue will be closed from February 19 to October 30 of this year. At the same time, the movement of vehicles will be provided by the adjacent Dostyk and Sarayshyk streets.
We ask residents and guests of the capital to plan their routes in advance in order to avoid traffic jams on city roads. We apologize for any temporary inconvenience and ask for understanding during the road construction work.
