A group of veterans and citizens who actively participated in the work of the council were also awarded letters of gratitude, and their contribution to the development of the district was especially noted.
“Today, about 29 thousand pensioners live in the Saryarka district. Improving their quality of life is our main goal. 154 organizations that unite more than 18 thousand veterans are actively working in this direction.
The centers “Optimist”, “Zodiak” and “Altyn Bosaga” are of great importance in supporting pensioners. Here, the older generation participates in cultural events, meets with young people, and spends their time usefully. In addition, the “Active Living Center” operates in our district, where 100-150 people come to it every day. And more than 3 thousand pensioners participate in various clubs and sports sections,” says Ulyash Kusainova, chairman of the district Council of Veterans.
It should be noted that the Council of Veterans of the Saryarka district was established on July 16, 2004. Over the past 20 years, this organization has become an important public force that unites veterans and retirees, supports their active lifestyle, and makes a significant contribution to the development of the district. The solemn gathering continued with a concert by artists of the E. Rakhmadiev Philharmonic.
