The Department of Land Resources Management of the Kyzylorda region of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan conducted an unscheduled inspection of compliance with land legislation in relation to the use of a plot provided in the Kazaly district, in the Aiteke bi settlement.
According to the results of the inspection, it was determined that since 2011, the land intended for entrepreneurial activity has not been used for its intended purpose. The estimated value of the plot was 25 million tenge. In order to eliminate the violation, the Department issued an instruction with a specified deadline to bring it into line with legislative requirements. However, the necessary measures were not taken.
Due to non-fulfillment of the instruction, the owner was brought to administrative responsibility in the form of a fine. In addition, the Department initiated legal proceedings on the forced seizure of the land in favor of the state.
The claim was fully satisfied by the decision of the Specialized Interdistrict Economic Court of the Kyzylorda region. The land plot was returned to state ownership.
The Vice Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Yermek Kenzhekhanuly, made a working visit to the Islamic Republic of Iran. As part of the visit, the Vice Minister participated in the opening of the trade and economic mission of Kazakhstan and held a number of productive meetings with representatives of the Iranian side.
At the 1st meeting of the Working Group on Agriculture between Kazakhstan and Iran, aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation, the Vice Minister noted the steady growth of trade and economic ties in the agricultural sector between the countries.
In 2024, the mutual trade turnover of agricultural products amounted to 220.1 million US dollars, an increase of 33.2% compared to 2023.
“Iran is a strategic partner of Kazakhstan in the agricultural sector. "We are interested in expanding the export of grain, meat products, vegetable oils and confectionery to the Iranian market, establishing joint ventures, and are ready to increase the transit of agricultural products through Iran to the Persian Gulf countries," Vice Minister Yermek Kenzhekhanuly noted.
A number of agreements were reached during the meeting.
In particular, the Kazakh side discussed the issues of supplying grain and leguminous crops and barley, 500 thousand tons of sunflower oil and sunflower seeds, mutton and live cattle to Iran.
In turn, Iran will accelerate the coordination of veterinary certificates for the export of cattle, small cattle, and horse hides, and increase the supply of Iranian agricultural products.
The parties also agreed to develop a program for introducing water-saving technologies in agriculture, use Iran's transit potential for sending flour through the port of Bandar Abbas, and consider joint projects on breeding sturgeon and salmon, and producing fish feed.
At the meeting A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Food Contract Corporation "NC" JSC and Fawakeh Trading Company (Iran).
At a meeting with the Minister of Agriculture of the Islamic Republic of Iran Gholamreza Nouri Gezeljeh, the parties discussed the prospects for increasing trade turnover of agricultural products, coordination of veterinary and phytosanitary requirements, and the transit of Kazakhstani agricultural products through Iran.
The main topic of the meeting with the Minister of Roads and Urban Development of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sadegh Farzaneh was the expansion of logistics opportunities for the export of Kazakhstani agricultural products, including the use of Iranian ports to access the markets of the Persian Gulf countries.
Also, as part of the working visit, the Vice Minister visited the Solica Group company, and discussed joint investment projects with its representatives, including the construction of factories for the production of fries, baby food, and cheese in Kazakhstan.
As a result of the meetings, agreements were reached on expanding bilateral cooperation in the agricultural sector, increasing the volume of supplies of agricultural products, and strengthening investment interaction.
