A presentation of a book dedicated to the life and work of Sauyk Zhakanova was held in Almaty

The presentation of the book “Sahara Sandugasha” was held at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The publication was published on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of Sauyk Zhakanova, a famous Kazakh radio announcer and prominent figure who made a significant contribution to the development of Kazakh culture.
Sauyk Zhakanova was awarded the Order of “Kurmet” for her many years of service to the culture of the country.
The event was attended by state and public figures, representatives of the creative intelligentsia, radio and television workers, journalists, relatives and friends of Sauyk Zhakanova.
A congratulatory letter from the Minister of Culture and Information of Kazakhstan, Aida Balayeva, was read at the event.
“Your service to our country has been written in golden letters in the history of the Kazakh people. Your contribution to radio and education is enormous. "You have won the hearts of listeners by becoming a presenter of the Kazakh Radio, having worked continuously on the air for almost half a century.
In addition to your skills as a presenter and your unique voice on the air, your exemplary life path is an example for generations. The public respects you not only as a master of your profession, but also as a great teacher who has brought up many students," the letter says.
The book "Sahara Presenter" tells about the life path of Sauyk Zhakanova, her creativity in the radio and television division, as well as her teaching activities.
