Residents of two districts of Karaganda region received keys to apartments. Ten families in the Kokpekty village of Bukhar Zhyrau district received new housing, and 30 people on the waiting list in the Abay district celebrated their housewarming.
With the support of the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, five two-apartment houses were built in the Kokpekty village. Each apartment has three rooms. The total area is 84 square meters.
Four families from socially vulnerable groups of the population, four families with many children, and two families whose houses were recognized as dilapidated received the keys.
Ekaterina Aktukasheva is raising three children alone.
- The apartments are very good: warm, the floors are smooth, and the renovation was done with high quality. I did not expect everything to be so modern. You can move in and stay! The 24-hour boiler in a separate room is incredibly convenient. There is no dust or smoke in the apartment, - says Ekaterina Aktukasheva. - My children are especially happy! I have two schoolchildren and a two-year-old little boy. Now they will have their own large room.
Another owner of the house is Batima Naskey's large family. She worked as a nurse at the Sarytobe school for ten years, and then retired as a mother of many children. There are five children in the family.
- We have been renting a house for a long time. Now we have received the keys to the apartment, - says Batima Naskey. - The house is very nice, spacious. We will move in soon. Thank you for supporting mothers with many children - this is a great help from the state!
It is planned to provide housing to more than 100 people on the waiting list in the Bukhar Zhyrau district throughout the year.
Also, 30 residents of the Abay district received the keys to new apartments. Among them are single-parent families, orphans, people with disabilities, relatives and pensioners. The apartments in the new five-story building built by Khalyk Building LLP were purchased by local executive bodies at the initiative of the Head of State. The house has 12 one-room, 8 two-room and 10 three-room apartments.
During the handover of the keys, Abai Akim Sabit Ospanov noted that purchasing ready-made housing from private developers will allow significant progress in solving the housing problem of those on the waiting list.
– A new chapter begins in your lives, – Sabit Ospanov congratulated. – May your apartments become not just walls and a roof, but a real cozy hearth, where there will always be warmth, joy and family well-being!
Among the neighbors is Kairat Borashev, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
– It is very pleasing that they are taking care of veterans and the poor, – said Kairat Borashev. – A wonderful apartment.
In addition, it is planned to hand over the keys to 10 more new apartments purchased from developers last year in Abai soon.
This year, the program for purchasing ready-made housing from developers will continue. In Abay, 90 families should receive apartments under this project, and in Topar, 40 families.
In 2025, it is planned to complete the construction of a five-story credit house in block 30a in Abay. The 80-apartment house is being built at the expense of budget funds according to the Concept of Development of Housing and Communal Infrastructure for 2023–2029. Apartments will be provided to those on the waiting list through the mechanisms of "Otbasy Bank".
Also, another five-story house and two-apartment one-story houses are being built in Abay, and two apartment buildings are being reconstructed in Topar.
