At the weekly staff meeting chaired by the akim of the Turkestan region, the work and plans being carried out within the framework of the “Clean Kazakhstan” program were presented, and road safety and quality in the winter, as well as the progress of the heating season, were evaluated.
The head of the region called for the intensification of work in the direction of cleanliness, improvement and landscaping, and the strengthening of explanatory work ordered.
– The implementation of the programs initiated by the Head of State is under strict control. Each task must be carried out with the utmost responsibility. Last week, we visited 6 districts and examined their cleanliness. We will continue to monitor them regularly in the future. The responsibility of leaders who failed to coordinate the “Clean Kazakhstan” program will be considered. It is necessary to strengthen discipline and responsibility and raise environmental literacy, - said Nuralkhan Kusherov.
According to the first deputy akim of the Turkestan region, Zulpykhar Zholdasov, the safety and quality of roads in the winter are under constant control. 145 special equipment, 382 workers were involved in 4669 kilometers of roads in the region, more than 6 thousand cubic meters of sand and more than 4 thousand tons of salt were used. Measures were taken to quickly respond to difficult situations by mobilizing additional equipment and labor.
This year, 1,257,700 trees are planned to be planted in the region to create a "green belt" and green up settlements. Of these, 631,100 trees are planned to be planted in the spring and 626,600 in the fall. Tree planting will begin at the end of February. In general, it is planned to plant Syrian rose, apricot, mulberry, willow, ailanthus, elm, catalpa, blackthorn, poplar, ash, maple, and juniper trees in the region.
For the effective implementation of the "Clean Kazakhstan" program, state utility companies were instructed to provide the right to collect and dispose of solid household waste, carry out sanitation, and landscaping activities. Relevant work was carried out within the framework of the task, and as a result, a full agreement was obtained on the collection of safe waste. To date, amendments to the Charter have been made by the akimats of 5 districts and cities, and registration work is underway in 8 districts. This work will begin in the remaining districts.
It should be noted that the "Taza Qazaqstan" platform is being successfully implemented in the region. Applications for cleaning work are accepted via the @TazaQazBot telegram bot, and feedback is being provided to residents. To date, 1,125 applications have been received on the platform. Of these, 1,104 applications have been implemented, while 21 applications are in the process of being implemented.
