There are more than 1,000 school principals in the Turkestan region. Each of them is an innovative leader who constantly works hard, raising the reputation of the school, responsibly approaching the upbringing of children and education. One of them, unique, is Asel Arapova, the director of comprehensive school No. 61 under the Saryagash district education department. Committed to the path of continuous search and lifelong learning, she won the "Bolashak" international scholarship by the decision of the meeting of the Republican Commission for Training Personnel Abroad on December 23, 2024.
From September 1, 2025, the Saryagash school principal will study at the world's best university, California State University Chico, USA, and will undergo a 1-year scientific internship.
It should be noted that Asel Abdrakhimovna was born in the Saryagash district into a family of teachers. She first began her career as a teacher at the South Kazakhstan Humanitarian Academy. The esteemed teacher, who has been working tirelessly in the field of pedagogy for 22 years, was appointed director of the M. Lomonosov Secondary School No. 3 in the district on October 10, 2016. In addition, in order to promote the value-based educational work of the "Education-Innovation Lyceums" and the system of working with the Olympic reserve group, and to increase tolerance among schoolchildren of more than 20 nationalities and cooperation with their parents, he introduced the NZM projects "Shanyrak", "A Day in the Father's Factory", "TEDx" and other projects into the educational work of the school. According to the results of the district subject Olympiad of schoolchildren, "M. Lomonosov Secondary School No. 3" was recognized as one of the best schools, preparing about 20 Olympiad prize-winners every year.
