Today, at a meeting chaired by the city akim Gabit Syzdykbekov, the measures being taken to ensure compliance with labor legislation at enterprises, the formation of housing management, and the stabilization of food prices were reported.

The head of the Shymkent Department of the State Labor Inspection Committee Zh. Makulbayev reported on the current situation with wage arrears. At the same time, the city akim instructed all heads of sectors to ensure compliance with the laws in the labor market by increasing the literacy of the population and to monitor the prevention of such abuses by contractors.

The head of the city's Environmental Quality and Control Department M. Kerimzhanov reported on the work carried out to maintain the housing stock and elevators. Today, the state is implementing a reform of housing and communal services. At the same time, it is planned to move to new management facilities for the maintenance of multi-storey residential buildings. 2,570 multi-storey residential buildings are registered in the city. Of these, 155 property owners' associations are registered. G. Abdimazhituly instructed the district akims and heads of the department to accelerate the creation of new management structures.

The head of the Department of Agriculture and Veterinary Medicine T. Mekambayev reported on measures to stabilize prices for socially significant food products. Appropriate funds have been allocated to the "Circulation Mechanism" of the Stabilization Fund, most of which are directed to producers of flour, bread, eggs, sunflower oil, vegetables and meat products. In addition, contracts have been concluded with large retail chains and distributors, and the most necessary goods are sold at social prices in 87 retail outlets in the city. In this regard, the heads of the districts and industries were instructed to strengthen price stabilization measures and increase social points of sale.
