MINISTER SAYASAT NURBEK DISCUSSES EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVES WITH EURONEWS REPRESENTATIVES
A meeting of Minister Sayasat Nurbek with Euronews representatives was held at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event was attended by Alpac Capital Co-Founder and Managing Partner Luis Santos, Alpac Capital Director, Euronews Astana Ltd CEO Peter Vajai, DreamShaper Co-Founder and CEO Joao Borges, and Euronews Astana Ltd representative Almira Makash.
During the meeting, the Minister spoke about the current reforms in higher education and science in Kazakhstan and shared the achievements of the country in the field of science and education. He drew attention to the prospects for the development of the higher education system, as well as opportunities for in-depth international cooperation with foreign partners.
Luis Santos presented Alpac Capital's activities and educational projects such as iSchoolar, e-Schooling and DreamShaper. It is worth noting that Euronews is part of Alpac Capital, a leading European 24-hour news channel.
Special attention was also paid to the recently opened Euronews office in Astana in 2024. Euronews Astana Ltd is not only engaged in publishing global news from Kazakhstan, but also has an educational project Euronews Academy for journalism students and media representatives. Alpac Capital expressed interest in further long-term cooperation with Kazakhstan in the field of education and media projects.
At the end of the meeting, the two sides confirmed their readiness to continue constructive interaction and set concrete steps to implement joint projects aimed at the development of education and science in Kazakhstan.
