The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Major General Chingiz Arinov, visited the scene of the emergency in the Ulytau region as part of the Government Commission.
Chingiz Arinov personally inspected the scene of the tragic incident and participated in the staff meeting.
The attention of the Head of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was focused on coordinating the work of all services involved in eliminating the consequences of the incident.
The Government Commission included Vice Minister of Emergency Situations Serik Tulenbergenov and Acting Chairman of the Industrial Safety Committee of the Ministry of Emergency Situations Rashid Dubayev.
Let us recall that on February 17, 2025, a mining mass collapsed at the "Zhomart" mine of the Kazakhmys corporation in the Zhanaarka district of the Ulytau region. Seven employees died as a result of the tragic incident. Their bodies were handed over to the police for forensic examination.
